One of the keys to becoming a good poker player is developing quick instincts. Practice and observation will help you to develop these instincts. Observe experienced players and try to understand how they react to the different situations that are thrown at them.
It is also important to remember that your hand is only as good or bad as the other player’s hand. This means that you should be able to inflate the pot when you have strong value hands and that you should call when you are holding mediocre or drawing hands.
