After the first round of betting is complete the dealer deals three more cards to the table that everyone can use. These are called the flop. Once the flop is in place everyone gets another chance to check, raise, or fold.
The last round of betting takes place when the river is flipped. Then the dealer puts a fifth community card on the board that everyone can use. After this the final betting round takes place and the highest ranked hand wins. If there is a tie, the highest card wins (Five of a kind beats four of a kind). Then the next highest card wins.
