The cognitive skills developed by playing poker can have benefits outside the game, including improved decision-making and strategic thinking.<\/p>\n<p>Poker can be a highly stressful game, as the odds can fluctuate dramatically during a single hand. The best poker players are able to stay in control of their emotions and develop a strong poker face that conveys confidence, even when they\u2019re losing.
